  1. 5. What do we use the personal data for?

The personal data gathered will be used to keep you informed of our product range, to identify you and to analyse and improve our services.

Personal data is not passed onto third parties.

  1. 6. Your privacy

6.1 You can view your details

If you want to check the data that we process about you, please let us know. If you exercise your right of access, we will give you as complete an overview as possible of your data. It is possible that some personal data from classic backup files, log, history or archive files is not included in this overview. This data is not part of the current processed personal data and is therefore not immediately available. As a result it cannot be provided. It is removed from these files according to standard cleanup procedures.

6.2 You can have your data corrected

It may be that certain data that we have about you is no longer correct. You can always ask for that data to be corrected or completed.

6.3 You can have your data deleted

If you suspect that we are processing certain data unlawfully, you can ask to have it deleted.

6.4 You can oppose certain use of data

If you do not agree with the way we process certain data, you can oppose this. We will grant your request unless there are compelling reasons not to do so, which is the case, for example, when we process data to combat fraud.

6.5 You can sometimes deny permission to have your details processed in a fully automated fashion

Some data processing and processes are fully automated, without human intervention. We try to explain the logic of this automatic process at the time.

If you do not agree with the result of such a fully automated process, you can always contact us.

6.6 You can request to transfer your data to a third party

You have the right to ask that personal data that you yourself have provided us with, be transferred to you or directly to a third party.

The privacy legislation provides for a number of restrictions on this right, as a result of which it does not apply to all data.

6.7 You can exercise your rights

Always be as specific as possible if you want to exercise your rights. Then we can deal with your question concretely and correctly. We need to be able to verify your identity as accurately as possible, in order to avoid someone else exercising your rights. That is why we may request a copy of your identity card for such a request

Do you have any questions or comments? Then write to us via our email address info@zedd.be. This is your first point of contact when it comes to privacy.

  1. 7. Storing your personal data

We use your personal data if we have a clear goal for it. If we no longer have any need for it, we destroy the data.

The starting point for storing your personal data is the legal retention period (often up to 10 years after the end of a contract or the transaction).

This may be longer for the exercising of our rights. If the law does not prescribe a retention period, then it may be shorter.

For some applications a larger time period may be required, for example for making studies, risk and marketing models. Some information only becomes clear when viewed in a broader time frame. The retention period can therefore be extended by 10 years with respect to standard retention periods. We will always sever the link with individual people as quickly as possible and only work with aggregated or pseudonymised data.

  1. 8. Your details are processed

Personal details are only processed internally by Zedd.

  1. 9. Protection of personal data

We believe it is important that your data is processed in a safe way. That’s why we use diverse protection technologies and measures to protect your data in the appropriate manner against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Unfortunately, exchange of information via the internet is never 100 % safe. Although we do everything within our means to safeguard the security of your data, we cannot guarantee this in absolute terms.
